Al Ahly’s attacking players: Hussein El Shahaat and Mahmoud Kahraba underwent a COVID-19 test on Tuesday inside the team’s residency in Doha, based on the request of the FIFA Club World Cup’s Organizing Committee.

Al Ahly’s delegation in Doha received an official letter from the tournament’s organizing committee asking both El Shahaat and Kahraba to undergo a COVID-19 test after both of them went to the fans following Al Ahly’s game against FC Bayern Munich in the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup.

The results of the tests will come out in the next few hours; however, Al Ahly’s delegation is confident that there is nothing to worry about.

Especially, that the tournament’s organizing committee required all fans who went to Monday’s match to test negative for COVID-19 in order to go to the match.
